Microsoft Office...

The newest Microsoft office operating software is now available to students for under 13 dollars at the FGCU bookstore located in the Student Union. Windows 7 operating system and Microsoft Office Suite are available separately. Student Government Senate passed a bill last year that paid the licensing fees to the Microsoft Corporation so the bookstore could sell software products at a price lower than retail. Students can purchase the software at the university bookstore with a valid Eagle I.D. card. Each student is limited to one copy of each disk containing the Microsoft software.

Software is available for both 32-bit computers and 64-bit computers. It is important to verify which type of processor you have before purchasing the Microsoft CD because once the CD is opened, it cannot be returned. We encourage students to use this opportunity to be up to date with the latest software and stay compatible with university staff and faculty.
